Okay, okay it’s been months since we blogged but today we are sharing a really special day. This beautiful Sand Rock Farm wedding was one for the books. C + D had so much of their personality incorporated through the day and we have to admit that the cellar at Sand Rock Farm is one of our favorite ceremony sites. Something about the ivy + cement is so moody. We got to work with some of our favorites on this one- The Booth Bus, E Events Co. and Chelsey Cueva.
We have been hunkering down here enjoying the Fall weather and getting ready to finish up our wedding season with one more wedding here in Santa Cruz. It’s been a busy, amazing season and as always we are feeling so blessed to be able to do what we do. Our couples are our friends and we are so glad that we were able to share in so much happiness this past season! Enjoy this lovely day and thanks for checking in!
So it had been weeks, months actually, since we had a weekend off from shooting and we got ourselves all rested up and refreshed and ready to go for the next weeks of weddings! River swims and some time at the beach was just what we needed to feel like our summer selves. Wedding season is busy and we do our best to take time to relax and refresh but it’s usually never on the weekends! We have some really sweet and amazing couples that we will be meeting up with soon and we can’t wait to continue the second half of our season. This week we have some images to share from a fun collab out in one of our favorite cities- New Orleans. If you haven’t been- you must go! So much music, amazing architecture + talented creatives out that way! We love dropping by the city as often as we can and had a beautiful time creating with Antigua Floral, Ashley Sievert Beauty + The Catahoula Hotel. The Catahoula has the perfect courtyard for an intimate ceremony and the exposed brick + black and white tiled floors make it a really stunning space. Hope you enjoy the pics and definitely make it out to New Orleans if you have the chance!
Today was the kind of day where I took boxes and boxes of USB drives to the post office and shipped off happy memories to couples from all over. One of those boxes happened to be the images from this pretty San Francisco City Hall Elopement. The USB got shipped to the lovely state of Michigan where these two traveled from to get married in SF! We loved meeting up with just the two of them to document their ceremony and go on a little photo adventure around City Hall and over to the coast. Shipping day is one of my favorite days and I’m happy to share these images with you all! Hope you enjoy!
It was a busy weekend over here. We are starting to do mentor sessions and we had a great one with some sweet photographers out of Texas. Get in touch if you are interested in a mentor session- we go over all sorts of crazy things + include a live shoot in all of our mentor sessions as well! Saturday we had a beautiful wedding in the redwoods + Sunday we spent the day doing birthday shenanigan sort of things so we are a little bit late sharing this new post but better late than never right? We have been really trying to catch the blog up on some of the awesome session we have had recently and this one does not disappoint. San Diego is a favorite city for sure and we had a grand ‘ol time exploring with these two whose Carmel wedding is coming up quick! Enjoy the pics and thanks for checking in with us!
This weekend was a hot one. We were up in Monte Rio for a wonderful wedding on the Russian River (sharing more on that soon!). So we thought we would share one of our first weddings from this season way back in January when it was chilly- sunny but chilly and so, so pretty. You know- we are trying to catch this blog up a bit, so many amazing days to share!
This celebration took place in San Francisco’s Presidio and it was a stunner for sure. We got to collaborate with the super talented Home Sweet Flowers and loved how this day came together. Friends and family came from all over to celebrate the vows of these two on a crisp California winter day! SO much love and happiness and we hope you enjoy!
