Engagement Photos at Point Reyes

Engagement photo season is upon us and this Point Reyes day was a favorite for sure. We met up with the awesome Q+H to capture some moments from some of their favorite Point Reyes locales. This was our first session out at the Inverness shipwreck and the light + clouds did not disappoint. Can’t wait to get back out there again soon, engagement photos at Point Reyes are awesome! The shipwreck was open and empty on this particular day. We always recommend scheduling engagement shoots on a weekday to help with keeping the crowd factor low at these very popular spots. It makes a huge difference and we had the place to ourselves!

If you haven’t been out to Inverness- get yourself there ASAP. It’s such a rad spot and perfect for photos. We spent some time at the shipwreck and then headed over to the tunnel of trees before making our way out to the cliffs for some blue hour pictures. Basically more Point Reyes adventuring soon please! We are headed down to Carmel + Big Sur for some more engagement photos this month and can’t wait to update the blog with images soon! Check out a couple more recent adventure engagement photos from Los Angeles here and a favorite Golden Gate Bridge session here!

Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Session

Meeting up with S+D for their downtown Los Angeles engagement session was a pretty rad little adventure. Did you know that we love Los Angeles? It’s such a rad city with so much going on and we are always stoked when our couples want to document their lives in that amazing city. We shot in S+D’s loft apartment and then cruised around to a few different spots nearby. L.A. was buzzing per usual with a day of the dead festival in the park (it was the first weekend of November) and the SUMMIT LA conference taking over the streets. We ended up on Olvera Street purely by accident (got kicked out of an Uber..it’s a long story) but it worked out perfectly because Olvera happens to be where these two had their first date.

Sometimes the universe provides doesn’t it. Those turned out to be some of our favorite images of the session! Hope you enjoy these images of S+D’s downtown Los Angeles engagement session and we are looking forward to the big day of these two coming up soon with Eileen over at E. Events Co. out at the ever gorg Holman Ranch! Check out another wedding we collaborated on with E. Events Co. at Holman Ranch here!

Monte Rio Wedding

Monte Rio weddings are good- real good. And with summer officially here it has us thinking back to this warm + wonderful weekend celebration on the Russian River. Monte Rio is one rad little town and if you have never been you should definitely make your way out that way while the weather is good and the river is ready for swimming. We met up with A+C for their awesome, epic celebration by the river and really loved everything about this day. They had everyone walk over the little bridge through town and threw an epic dance party into the night. We got to sneak away to take some evening photos down on the beach when things cooled down and the light was so good it looked like A+C had walked into a painting. Hoping you all have some excellent plans this Friday + weekend- we’ll be headed up to Half Moon Bay + Montara for another couple’s magical celebration.

Elizabeth Gamble Garden Wedding

The sun is shining and it has us thinking back to this pretty wedding at the Elizabeth Gamble Garden. What a gem of a venue nestled into the heart of Silicon Valley. These two did an amazing job re-planning there wedding after a wildfire came too close to their original wedding site deep in the Santa Cruz mountains just a couple of days before their wedding date. They switched up the plan and had this beautiful day planned in little more than 24 hours. Not stressful at all right? But they pulled it off with grace and flawlessly and we were so happy to be there to document it. Enjoy the pics and happy weekending to you all.
