We thought we’d share this Bay Area engagement session on bikes with you all this Monday because, well, it’s Monday and this session just feels like a fun Saturday kind of day. We loved meeting up with these two in their neighborhood and taking their Public Bikes out for a cruise (if you don’t know Public go check them out- super great bikes!). We spend a lot of time on our bikes (riding to the farmers market, riding them to work, riding them around with a chiweenie in the basket) and it was so fun to document these two doing the same thing (minus the chiweenie). Their wedding is coming up quick and we can’t wait for their day on the Russian River this summer. It’s gonna be a good one because well, these two are some of the sweetest and the Russian River is one of our favorites so we know it’s going to be good!

We have been busy little bees over here but wanted to share this beautiful Tehama wedding that was featured on the blog Carats and Cake recently. This wedding was gorgeous  with a sunset ceremony overlooking  views of the Pacific and the rolling hills of Carmel Valley. We got to team up with some of our favorites including Josh Harney Productions, Fionna Floral and Aerialist Press. Wedding season is in full swing and we are feeling so blessed to be invited into the lives of such amazing people to document their love stories. As we get ready to dive into our really, really busy season we are counting our blessings and remembering so many amazing celebrations from seasons past. Like this pretty day! We are getting excited for some more beautiful weddings out in Carmel Valley coming up soon! Okay hope you enjoy the pics and I am off to the inbox- have a great day out there!

Can we just say that we love us a Cabo wedding. Mexico anything is just fine by us. Since it is dumping rain again here in Santa Cruz we decided to channel some sunshine and warm ocean by sharing this favorite Cabo wedding from Fall. We have both spent a bit of time in Mexico and love, love, love it- mainland, Baja..basically all of it. From road trips to Oaxaca to surf camping in Baja we love any reason to travel to Mexico! We feel so lucky that we have been able to document couple’s weddings there and have some fun projects in the works for more Cabo days!  This beautiful celebration took place at Hacienda Cocina y Cantina– right on the beach in Cabo San Lucas. Carly + Itay  flew in from Canada and met with their closest friends and family to celebrate under the sun in beautiful Cabo. They got lucky and had their Cabo wedding during a gorgeous super moon- and dinner and dancing all took place under the bright shining moon, overlooking the ocean. We worked with some amazing creatives who are always coming up with inspiring designs- Pina Cate on flowers and wonderful Jorge + Yarai of Memories Wedding + Events. Enough of our blabbering over here- hope you enjoy the images and feel that warm sunshine too!

This Golden Gate bridge engagement session has been a favorite of recent. These two are tying the knot this summer in beautiful Sonoma and we were lucky to meet up with them in San Francisco for a gorgeous sunset under the Golden Gate! This little beach is a quick hike straight down a hill in SF’s presidio and Anna + David brought their little pup along for the evening.  We enjoyed the view, did some hiking and soaked in the sunset….

This redwood wedding was gorgeous, and rainy and a whole lot of fun. Have you ever wondered what your wedding might look like if it rained- I mean POURED on your ceremony? Okay well it happened to this sweet couple and to be honest- they had a blast and took it all in stride. Their celebration was held in the Santa Cruz mountains deep in a redwood grove and those umbrellas got some serious usage. Kristina and Adam fell in love with The Amphitheater of the Redwoods and had all of their friends + family join them for a weekend of celebration mountain style!

We got lucky and were able to do a first look and portraits outdoors before the ceremony began, but literally, as soon as the bride came walking down the aisle it started to pour. It didn’t stop this group from having an amazing time and everyone being soaked just added to the feel good, forget about everything and celebrate attitude (exactly in a it’s pouring rain on your wedding day and we’re going to party down). People were loving it and it was seriously special to document this day! We loved collaborating with Mandolin Flowers and The Booth Bus on this event!
