DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENTS?
Absolutely! We love to travel and in the past couple of years we have shot weddings in Mexico, Hawaii, Colorado, Utah, Louisiana, Michigan and all over the state of California. For weddings outside of California we do require a travel fee and design a specific quote for each destination.
HOW DO I SECURE YOU FOR OUR WEDDING DATE?
We reserve weddings on a first-come, first-served basis. A retainer fee and signed agreement are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding.
DO WE RECEIVE OUR FINAL IMAGES? HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT?
You bet! You receive all of your final high resolution images after your wedding/engagement session (within 6-10 weeks depending on the season). They are your images and we share the rights to them so you may print them where you please (but we always recommend using a professional lab or even better- us!) wedding images range from 500-700 and engagements are anywhere from 70-100.
DO YOU ACCEPT DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks or paypal. Whatever works best for you.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
We full heartedly believe that photography is one of the most important investments of a wedding (it’s all we have left now that the cake has been eaten and the champagne drunk!) and with that said we always emphasize the importance of the post production work that goes into every single image we hand our clients. We pride ourselves in creating standalone pieces of art for generations to enjoy. We do, and if your venue needs proof of it we are happy to send it their way!

Oh yes. We come with a quiver of gear!

Of course! You should see the amazing collection of hard drives we have! Not to mention the cloud online storage for triple back up!
WHY SHOULD WE SCHEDULE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
Engagement sessions are the best. We totally recommend them to all of our couples. They are a time for us to get to know each other and go on a little photo adventure. If you are nervous about being photographed at all, this will cure it for sure. Come wedding day you will feel totally comfortable in front of the camera.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR TO AN ENGAGEMENT OR FAMILY SESSION?
We believe that your session should reflect your personality! Wear things that make you feel confident, comfortable and ready for a photo adventure! we prefer a little coordination (plaid and floral can get crazy together through the camera lens) but we advise on not being too matchy-matchy. We've all looked through that book ‘awkward family photos’ right? For engagement sessions bring a few changes of clothes or ‘looks’ and we highly recommend bringing your favorite bright scarf and shoe options depending on how good you are at hiking around in sand while sporting heels!
WHAT IS THIS "FIRST LOOK" WE KEEP HEARING OF?
This is a new trend in wedding photography and we have shot weddings for both couples that chose to do a first look and those who wait to see each other at the ceremony. It’s a totally personal decision and in the end it comes down to what works for you. With proper planning there should always be plenty of time for great portraits.
If you do choose to do a first look it would allow for a private, quiet moment for you and your fiancé to see each other and soak in that this is your day. After a few minutes alone, we would shoot portraits of the two of you then move on to bridal party photos. Couples who really want to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests often opt for this as it is usually right after the ceremony that your friends and family want to surround you and congratulate you.
